Junior Software Engineer

About the role

R Systems is seeking a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join its team that builds and maintains complex platforms for telecommunications operators. You will work with a variety of modern technologies and gain deep exposure to the telco industry.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in system integration and development projects.
• Support the team in maintaining and enhancing complex telco platforms.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including the most challenging ones.
• Communicate with customer technical teams to facilitate issue resolution.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of software development experience.
• Strong communication skills in spoken and written English.
• Self‑confidence, creativity and a customer‑facing attitude.
• Readiness to take responsibility for assigned tasks and break down larger work items.

Required skills

• Java development with Spring and Spring Boot.
• Containerisation using Docker.
• Experience with Elastic Search.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Kafka, Oracle and MySQL databases.
• Understanding of cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with telecommunication signalling protocols.
