About the role
R Systems is seeking a motivated Junior Java Software Engineer to join its telco platform team. You will work on the development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex networking solutions for telecom operators, gaining deep exposure to the telecommunications industry.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in system integration and development projects for telco platforms.
- Maintain and enhance existing complex platforms, addressing technical issues of varying difficulty.
- Collaborate with customer technical teams to resolve incidents and ensure smooth operation.
- Decompose larger tasks into manageable work packages and take ownership of assigned deliverables.
Required profile
- 2‑3 years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong communication skills in spoken and written English.
- Assertive, self‑confident, creative, and comfortable interacting with customers.
- Readiness to take responsibility for tasks and work both independently and within a team.
Required skills
- Java programming language.
- Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Docker containerization.
- Elastic Search.
- PostgreSQL, Kafka, Oracle, MySQL databases.
- Understanding of cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of telecommunication signaling protocols.
