IT Support Specialist

About the role

KVG is looking for an entry‑level IT Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for technology support across its offices. You will assist users with accounts, laptops, Teams, printers, Wi‑Fi and related issues for locations in Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Germany, Spain, the Philippines and the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of user requests from initial contact to resolution, keeping users informed.
• Troubleshoot Windows and macOS laptops – sign‑in problems, application issues, performance and peripheral failures.
• Handle account tasks such as password and MFA resets, group and license assignments, and access to shared resources.
• Prepare, enroll and configure new devices for new starters on day one.
• Support Microsoft 365 services including mailboxes, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Provide first‑line assistance for Wi‑Fi, VPN and connectivity, and escalate infrastructure faults with proper diagnostics.
• Build, deploy, collect and wipe hardware while maintaining accurate asset records.
• Report suspected phishing or account compromise to security operations.
• Document resolutions so future support can build on existing knowledge.

Required profile

• No commercial IT experience required; internships, repair‑shop work, volunteering or a well‑documented home lab are acceptable.
• Professional written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Methodical, patient and able to explain technical issues without jargon.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Chișinău handling physical hardware.

Required skills

• Fundamentals of computer hardware, Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Basic networking concepts – IP, DNS and Wi‑Fi.
• Exposure to Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune.
• Basic PowerShell or other scripting knowledge.
• Familiarity with UniFi networking or structured cabling.
