HR Specialist – Support US Operations

About the role

US Software Solutions, a software development company serving the utilities, telecommunications, energy efficiency, renewable energy and gas/electricity sectors, is looking for an HR Specialist to support daily HR operations for its U.S. market. The role will assist the senior HR Specialist with onboarding, data management and compliance tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Support onboarding and off‑boarding processes for U.S.-based employees.
• Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems and trackers.
• Enroll new hires in benefit platforms and remove departing employees.
• Conduct background checks using designated verification tools.
• Keep onboarding and termination trackers up‑to‑date.
• Collaborate with the HR team to improve workflows and meet deadlines.
• Perform other HR‑related administrative duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of recruitment experience.
• Fluent in Romanian, Russian and English (advanced spoken English required).
• Strong time‑management skills and ability to handle multiple hiring projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
