Full Stack Engineer (EMEA)

About the role

Deel is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join its cross‑functional EMEA team. You will help build and scale the all‑in‑one payroll and HR platform that powers global teams across more than 150 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in product planning from discovery through deployment, providing input at every stage of the software development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality, responsive web applications and server‑side APIs.
• Own feature development across client, server, services, and databases, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, frontend engineers, product managers, designers, and QA to deliver robust new features and continuously improve existing ones.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs quickly to maintain a white‑glove experience for customers.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a passion for building scalable SaaS products.
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed, multicultural team.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward ownership.

Required skills

• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience with React for front‑end development.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Express.js for server‑side work.
• Familiarity with NestJS, Vite, and Next.js is a plus.
• Understanding of API design, data modeling, and database interaction.
