FDE AI Solutions Architect (AI, Python/Data)

About the role

Provectus, an AWS Premier Partner and Anthropic Strategic Partner, works with enterprises to turn Claude, agentic systems and their own data into business outcomes, in Financial Services & Insurance and Healthcare & Life Sciences. This role is a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) in a small senior pod, working alongside a Forward Deployed Executive (FDX) who owns the commercial relationship. You embed with a client, map their workflow, build a working AI solution and hand it over, measured on the business unit's outcome.

Key responsibilities

• Sit with the client and FDX at the start of an engagement, learn the function from the inside and redesign it from first principles
• Build and ship production GenAI systems (LLM-based, cloud-native, agentic) and implement and optimise RAG systems
• Build evaluation harnesses before features, define what working means and let evaluations drive design
• Write production code across the stack and deploy on AWS (GCP or Azure where required): containerised, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring
• Lead architecture reviews, produce technical design documents, mentor engineers and own the outcome of proposals and scoping
• Drive adoption and change management, and be credible with the customer's engineers and executives

Required profile

• 7+ years building and running production systems, with solid AI/ML foundations
• B2+ English, comfortable in distributed, multicultural teams
• Willing to spend time understanding another person's job before writing code, and able to talk to BU heads and CTOs
• Ability to produce a scoped, phased delivery plan with deliverables, dependencies, risks and costs

Required skills

• Designed and shipped LLM applications and agentic workflows, including multi-step workflows, tool use and state management
• Experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, OpenAI) and agent frameworks, and production RAG systems
• Hands-on AWS production depth (Bedrock, Lambda, ECS, S3, SQS, ECR); GCP or Azure is a plus
• Cloud-native delivery: containers, ECS or Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD for AI pipelines
• Evaluation suites, model and agent monitoring, drift detection, cost and latency discipline
• Python and/or TypeScript; AWS and Claude Code certifications, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI, and experience in Go, TypeScript or Rust are a plus
