Facility Management Operations Manager

About the role

Summa is establishing a new Facility Management company in Moldova to oversee a portfolio that includes hotels, hospitals, office buildings and shopping malls. The Facility Management Operations Manager will lead the creation and execution of operational processes, ensuring high‑quality service delivery across all assets.

Key responsibilities

• Establish Facility Management workflows, service standards and SOPs for diverse property types.
• Develop and maintain MEP maintenance plans, operational manuals and quality assurance procedures.
• Implement and manage CMMS/CAFM platforms, configure digital schedules, asset databases and service request workflows.
• Lead technical teams, oversee recruitment, training and performance evaluation.
• Conduct procurement, supplier evaluation, contract negotiations and monitor SLA/KPI compliance.
• Prepare operational budgets, monitor expenditures and drive cost‑optimization.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, local regulations and internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5–7 years of experience in Facility Management, technical operations or building services management.
• Experience with international or cross‑border operations is preferred.
• Strong analytical, leadership and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency in English; Romanian or Russian is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems.
• Maintenance planning and asset management expertise.
• Proficiency with Facility Management software platforms such as CMMS and CAFM.
• Experience configuring digital maintenance schedules and dashboards.
