DevOps Engineer

About the role

The DevOps Engineer at Deel bridges software development and IT operations, ensuring seamless integration and continuous delivery of our SaaS platform. You will collaborate with development, IT, and product teams to automate processes, improve scalability, and maintain high‑performance, secure systems for our global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the latest AWS technologies such as Kubernetes (EKS), S3, Postgres, DocumentDB, and more.
• Manage AWS production deployments and design CI/CD automation and Infrastructure as Code for cloud‑based systems.
• Enhance production stability, availability, and reliability of micro‑services.
• Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot product micro‑services and associated databases.
• Design and manage monitoring and observability tools to resolve production issues.

Required profile

• 5+ years of DevOps experience in production environments.
• Strong background with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Drone, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Deep understanding of AWS services (EKS, S3, Postgres, SES, SNS, SQS) and networking concepts.
• Results‑driven attitude with a strong commitment to completing tasks.
