DevOps Azure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Azure Engineer to join our fast‑growing engineering team. You will help automate, scale and secure our cloud platforms, enabling faster and safer software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, optimise and maintain scalable Azure cloud environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment and release management.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools such as Azure Bicep, Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with developers, QA and product teams to improve the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing and production environments.
• Enhance security practices, manage certificates and access controls, and ensure compliance.
• Document infrastructure, deployment processes and system configurations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on DevOps experience, including CI/CD, cloud infrastructure and automation.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and effective communication skills.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure (including Azure Container Instances, Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service).
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code: Azure Bicep, Terraform, Ansible.
• Containerisation and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps.
• Scripting languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
• Monitoring and logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
• Version control: Git.
• Understanding of system architecture, networking, microservices and distributed systems.
