Chief Marketing Officer – Remote (EMEA)

About the role

We are seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to define and execute the global marketing strategy for a fast‑scaling AI‑native cloud infrastructure startup. This remote, EMEA‑focused position will work closely with founders and commercial leaders to shape positioning, build demand, and drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the global marketing and go‑to‑market strategy.
• Own positioning, messaging, brand, and market differentiation across AI and cloud infrastructure.
• Build demand‑generation programs covering content, digital, events, partnerships, and community.
• Develop thought‑leadership and content for technical and enterprise audiences.
• Collaborate with Sales and leadership to create a scalable pipeline and improve conversion rates.
• Lead product marketing, launches, campaigns, and market expansion initiatives.
• Recruit, manage, and scale the marketing function, including external partners.
• Track performance metrics such as pipeline contribution, CAC, and ROI to continuously refine execution.

Required profile

• 8+ years of B2B technology marketing experience with senior leadership responsibility.
• Proven track record leading marketing for high‑growth technology companies or startups.
• Strong understanding of AI, cloud infrastructure, SaaS, developer platforms, or related deep‑tech markets.
• Demonstrated ability to build positioning, demand generation, and go‑to‑market strategies from scratch.
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical products.
• Experience working closely with founders, Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Analytical mindset with data‑driven decision making.
• Hands‑on approach suitable for early‑stage, distributed environments.
