Junior Accountant / Junior Financial Controller

About the role

We’re looking for a Junior Accountant / Junior Controller to join our team at Remote Finance Team. In this hybrid role you will handle day‑to‑day accounting tasks and contribute to monthly and year‑end closings for international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Processing invoices and bank transactions
• Preparing and submitting VAT declarations
• Month‑end & year‑end closings for multiple clients
• Reviewing balance‑sheet items and resolving discrepancies
• Posting journal entries and supporting general‑ledger accuracy

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in accounting or controlling
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Solid understanding of general ledger and financial processes
• Analytical thinking, planning and attention to detail
• Some experience with international clients (preferred)
• Proficient in written and spoken English
