National Consultant – Crisis Management & Safe Leadership Capacity Building

About the role

UN Women is seeking experienced national consultants to provide capacity‑building services on crisis management and safe leadership for public administration, political institutions, and private‑sector management positions in Moldova. The consultants will support the implementation of UN Women’s strategic priorities on women’s leadership and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver training modules on crisis management, safe leadership and gender‑responsive decision‑making.
• Conduct needs assessments and tailor capacity‑building interventions to the specific context of public and private sector entities.
• Produce training materials, toolkits and guidance notes aligned with UN Women standards and the latest international recommendations.
• Facilitate workshops, seminars and coaching sessions for senior officials and emerging leaders.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of interventions and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in public administration, political science, gender studies, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in crisis management, leadership development, or capacity‑building programmes.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Moldovan public‑private sector landscape and gender equality issues.
• Fluency in English and Romanian (or Russian) with strong written and oral communication skills.
