Senior Software Engineer – Sovereign AI Platform

About the role

We are looking for a senior software engineer to lead Python backend development and design agent workflows for our sovereign AI platform. You will work closely with the founder in Switzerland and engineers across Romania and Moldova, taking ownership of critical review pipelines and ensuring reliable production behavior.

Key responsibilities

• Design and ship review pipelines, retrieval workflows and tool execution with human approval gates.
• Build evaluations and tests that expose failure modes and verify workflow handling of uncertainty.
• Take features from implementation through review, deployment and monitoring.
• Contribute to Kubernetes, GitOps, CI/CD and development environments.
• Help hire and onboard future engineers as the team grows.

Required profile

• 4+ years building and maintaining production software with strong Python skills.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Git‑based development workflows.
• Demonstrated work with self‑hosted LLMs and understanding of their failure points.
• Ability to turn ambiguous requirements into practical designs, explain trade‑offs and test outcomes.
• Fluent written and spoken English and comfort with async‑first collaboration.
