Junior Audit Consultant

About the role

Join EY as a Junior Audit Consultant and support our audit consulting teams in delivering high‑quality audit services. This entry‑level position offers a hybrid work schedule and a chance to develop technical and leadership skills in a global professional services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Familiarize yourself with client operations and attend audit meetings.
• Summarize meeting outcomes and ask clarifying questions.
• Assist in preparing balance‑sheet files by processing client data according to team guidelines.
• Validate and summarize client documents for audit verification.
• Participate in client inventories, working independently or alongside a colleague.
• Use Excel extensively for data analysis, including functions such as SUMIF, VLOOKUP, COUNTIF, filters, pivot tables, and conditional formatting.
• Learn and apply internal audit tools to manage audit activities efficiently.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in Economics.
• Agile, growth‑oriented mindset with curiosity and purpose‑driven attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work inclusively with diverse perspectives.
• Fluency in Romanian and English.
• Motivation to start a career in professional services.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including common functions and conditional formatting.
